Katherina Kiss

After working in complementary health in Sydney clinical practices, Katherina moved to the Northern Rivers region of NSW where she completed a Bachelors degree in Communications and then worked in Japan for 5 years in a variety of education settings.

In 2004 after undertaking the EduCareDo Foundations in Anthroposophy course, her interest and training in complementary medicine turned towards further study and working out of anthroposophy. Life then led her on towards various teaching and support roles in adult education.

Alongside this work in the world, Katherina’s passion and focus is on the inner development that is necessary to carry our tasks in the service of world development. The last 18 years has been divided between administration and support for EduCareDo and community partner Inner Work Path, facilitation of both face to face and online study groups-in particular the Six Subsidiary Exercises – and support on courses and retreats. For EduCareDo Katherina provides Student Support; helping bridge participants to the courses, information and guidance they need to fully engage with their chosen study. The support she provides springs from a deep desire to share with others the gifts borne of the inner work that has enriched and strengthened her life.

When not supporting EduCareDo and its partner collaborations, she is currently the Student Support Coordinator at a not-for profit Community College in Northern NSW where she advocates on behalf of students undertaking Vocational Education &Training who require mental health support and access to other community service providers.

Katherina is a director of EduCareDo and Developing the Self Developing the World.
