Understanding, Caring for and Developing the Human Senses
Two Lessons from
Foundations in Anthroposophy
By Erwin Berney
Our senses bring us consciousness about the world and ourselves. This consciousness arises when we find where we are between the polarities of the outer world and our inner world. The twelve senses gradually open up through childhood, and even in adulthood they are at different stages of development in the various individuals. Between the polarities of our twelve senses we can experience how our conscious self-awakening can gradually increase our knowledge of the world and ourselves.
The Module Includes
- 2 Written Lessons
- Online group space twice a year to discuss the lessons
- A Diary Sheet to access tutoring

The module and it’s associated activities remain available for 2 years, or longer if you choose to stay engaged with ongoing associated offerings.
Twice a year there is an opportunity to come together online for questions and practice in applying the observations to become fluent in observing constitutions.
This module is complemented by lessons from the Foundations in Anthroposophy – The 12 senses, the 3 fold human constitution, and the temperaments.
When you feel ready, the Diary Sheet at the end of the lesson can be completed and uploaded to your account on the website so that Louise can respond.
The content can be applied in daily life to understand each individual child’s and support them to care for their constitution.
A certificate of completion can be provided when the Diary Sheet has been submitted.
